History of The Purcell Agency
The Purcell Agency started in July of 2012 after author Tina P. Schwartz spent twelve years writing and marketing her work, along with helping several others get published.
After a career in Radio Sales and Marketing, she turned to her true passion, selling manuscripts. She sold her first book contract in 2004, and most recently sold one that is forthcoming December 2013, with 8 others in between, all non-fiction for the Teen and Youth markets. All 10 manuscripts sold to traditional publishers, all for one author.
Recently, upon opening The Purcell Agency, Schwartz has expanded acquisitions to include juvenile fiction, reference, biographies, and children's books, and she has taken on multiple clients as of 2012.
Tina P. Schwartz looks forward to continuing to build fruitful relationships with editors and publishers around the globe.
Submissions are limited to Picture Books, Middle Grade Fiction and Young Adult Fiction; and Non-Fiction for grade school level and teens. Check Submissions Tab for specifics on presenting your work.
