Benjamin Brockway
Benjamin Brockway was ten when he discovered the joy of reading science fiction and fantasy. He grew up in rural Arkansas, and when he wasn’t riding his horse, you could find him in a comfy hiding spot with a book.
After graduating from CU Boulder with a degree in chemical engineering, Benjamin began a twenty-year career in food manufacturing. He lives in Kansas City with his wife of twenty-five years and their three teenage children. Against his wishes, the family cares for a gecko, a tarantula, a snake, a dog, and an unfriendly cat. He takes hope in the idea that someday the snake will be big enough to eat the cat. For years, Benjamin read about and imagined countless fantastical worlds, but a suggestion from his daughter caused him to start writing down his stories. He looks forward to sharing Silversmith, his debut science fantasy novel, with the world. |
