Peggy Hanna married her high school sweetheart. Together they raised five biological children, four adopted children and dozens of foster children. Originally from Chicago, they’ve lived in Springfield, OH, since 1965. UNDER "S" for SUCKER is her first middle grade novel/manuscript and is available for acquisition through TPA. [The screenplay adaptation is still looking to complete funding, but has an award winning director attached already. Peggy recently retired from administrative work in the sociology department at Wittenberg University. Her first book, Patriotism, Peace and Vietnam: A Memoir, chronicles the story of a mid-west city that struggled with its conscience during those volatile years. A community activist, she remains a leader in local peace and justice organizations.
For fun, besides writing and reading, Peggy loves hiking, traveling, and surprise birthday gifts like the one her kids gave her on her 60th – skydiving.
